BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse head coach Janine Tucker today announced changes to the 2007 women's lacrosse schedule. Hopkins will host Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday, March 6 at 2:00 pm on Homewood Field. In addition, the contest against Ohio, originally scheduled for Mar. 9 in Athens, OH, has been cancelled after Ohio announced that it would not be fielding a team for the 2007 campaign.
This will be the sixth meeting between Hopkins and Mount St. Mary's in the series history, but the first since the 2001 season. The Blue Jays have won all five previous meetings, including three meetings at Homewood.
Hopkins opens its season Wednesday afternoon against the visiting George Washington Colonials. Game time at Homewood Field is set for 5:00 pm.
