BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse game against Virginia on April 14 at Homewood Field has been moved to a noon start. The game was originally scheduled for a 1:00 pm start but has been moved up an hour to accommodate ESPNU, which will be televising the game live. The only meeting between Hopkins and Virginia was on May 12, 2005 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Cavaliers won that meeting 10-8.
The Blue Jays, ranked ninth in the Inside Lacrosse Preseason poll, opens the 2007 season at Homewood Field on Wednesday, February 21 against visiting George Washington. Game time is set for 5:00 pm. Hopkins will then host George Mason on Saturday, February 24 at 4:00 pm.
