CARLISLE, PA - Johns Hopkins closed out the 2005 men's cross country season on Saturday with a 13th-place finish at NCAA Mideast Regionals, hosted by Dickinson College.

Hopkins posted 386 points, finishing 13th in the field of 40 teams. Centennial Conference Champion Haverford took first place overall, placing five runners in the top 15.

Leading the way for Hopkins was sophomore Patrick Brandon (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa), taking 37th place with a time of 27:08.5. All five scoring runners for the Blue Jays finished in the top half of the field, including seniors Andrew Bauerschmidt (Carle Place, NY/Carle Place) and Gabe Tonkin (Santa Barbara, CA/San Marcos), who finished 85th and 107th, respectively.

Widener's Macharia Yuot took first in the field, crossing the finish line in 25:14.5.
