CENTREVILLE, VA - Sophomore Patrick Brandon's (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) best time of the year paced Johns Hopkins in the GW Invitational, hosted by George Washington University on Saturday.
Brandon finished 23rd in the event with a 26:51.41, pacing the Hopkins runners for the second time in two events that he has participated in this season. Junior Travis Koh (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham), sophomore Jason Chiang (Torrance, CA/West) and senior Andrew Bauerschmidt (Carle Place, NY/Carle Place) also finished in the top half of the field, with times of 27:26.07, 27:40.22 and 28:09.37 respectively.
The Blue Jays finished 10th in the field of 12 teams, consisting of six Division I squads, three D-II and three D-III teams. Bucknell took first place in the event, with 31 points. Seton Hall's Justin Wood took first place, running the course in 25:41.78.
