CHESTER, PA - The Johns Hopkins men's track and field competed at the Widener Invitational on Saturday. Freshman Graham Belton broke two freshman school records on the day.

Belton ran a 4:03.65 in the 1,500-meter run and a 15:16.91 in the 5,000-meters. Fellow freshman James Walker recorded a 50.09 in the 400-meter dash. Tristan Thomas ran an 11.27 in the 100-meter dash to finish 12th. Thomas also finished eighth in the 200-meter dash with a 22.71.

Doug Karlsberg finished sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing the line with a time of 10:38.96. Peter Li finished fourth in the shot put with a toss of 14.22m. Li was third in the discus throw with a throw of 39.92m.

Hopkins will return to action this weekend as members of the team compete at the Penn Relays.
