BALTIMORE, Md. -- This Saturday's game between the top-ranked Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team and the fifth-ranked Maryland men's lacrosse team will air live nationally on the recently-launched College Sports Television Network (CSTV). CSTV is available on Direct TV (Channel 610) and the Johns Hopkins-Maryland men's lacrosse game will be the first live event broadcast on the network. The JHU-Maryland game will also be the first of six men's lacrosse games to air on the network between April 12 and May 3.

CSTV officially went on the air on April 7 with a programming schedule devoted entirely to college sports. The top-ranked Blue Jays will appear on the network three times in the coming weeks as the April 19 game against Navy and the May 3 game against Loyola will also air live. These games will be produced locally by ABC2 in Baltimore and carried by both ABC2 and CSTV. Additional men's lacrosse games scheduled to air on CSTV include the Syracuse-Hofstra game (April 17), the UMBC-Maryland game (April 25) and the Army-Navy game (April 27).

In addition to the schedule of games available, CSTV also recently launched CSTV LAX, the first weekly national television program dedicated solely to college lacrosse, CSTV LAX is a weekly review of men's and women's college lacrosse action, covering all Divisions and conferences. CSTV LAX will cover the past week's top individual and team performances, include highlights of top games, and size up the runs to the conference and NCAA Championships on all levels.
