The Johnson C. Smith University men's golf team finished in fifth place at the CIAA Western Division Golf Challenge in Louisburg, NC. The team shot 385 on Monday and then 353 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 738. Sophomore Enobong Udo was the individual medalist with a two-day total of 147. North Carolina Central claimed the crown after shooting 317 on day two. Fayetteville State University finished in the runner-up position with a two-day score of 631 with Winston-Salem State finishing in third place.

JCSU returns to action on March 29-20, 2006 at the St. Andrew's Invitational in Laurinburg, NC.
