JCSU and CSTV Launch New Athletics Website

New Site Debuted on Jan. 25

Feb. 5, 2007

Johnson C. Smith University and CSTV.com have teamed up to launch www.goldenbullsports.com, the official Web site of JCSU athletics. The new site debuted on January 25, 2007.

The website includes a cleaner, enhanced design with easy-to-use navigation tools. The new website has updated a number of areas - including adding a staff directory, compliance, sports medicine, Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and a comprehensive calendar.

JCSU will feature CSTV's exclusive GameTrackerTM technology, allowing fans to follow live simulated game action, details and full play-by-play of their favorite teams. GameTracker technology will be available for men's and women's basketball and for football.

The new www.goldenbullsports.com website includes: • Enhanced navigation, graphics, and design that enable the browser to move about the site quicker and easier. • Wider photos with large lead story pictures on the front page and in various sections of the site. • Updated news, stories, and statistics about all aspects of JCSU intercollegiate athletics.

"This launch is just a start of so many new things to come at JCSU," said Steve Joyner, JCSU's Director of Athletics. "In this information age, the official website serves as the largest marketing tool for an athletic department. Our new website showcases all our student-athletes, offers better coverage of our athletic program, and can serve as a tremendous recruiting tool for prospective student-athletes. It can also generate revenue streams through enhanced corporate sponsorship and advertising."

"CSTV has been the perfect solution for our athletics web-site needs at JCSU," said Kristene Kelly, Sports Information Director. "We needed an inexpensive content management system that allowed us to quickly update our site from nearly any location. The CSTV web-site design team did an outstanding job of laying out a great-looking site that is simple to manage."
