Prep/Personal: As a wide receiver for head coach Dave Dulgosz at Avon Lake High School, Means led his team to a 15-0 record and the school's first state championship as a junior ... had 22 catches for 411 yards and seven touchdowns ... as a senior wide receiver, Means had 24 receptions for 597 yards, an average of 25.0 yards per catch, to earn first team All-Lorain County and all-district laurels ... also a standout high school baseball player ... born on Sept. 11, 1986, Andrew Jonathan Means is a general studies major ... also the starting center fielder for the IU baseball team ... earned second team All-Big Ten honors in 2007 ... led the Hoosiers with a .369 average and 29 steals ... also led the team in slugging percentage (.467) and on-base percentage (.397) and finished second on the team in both runs (32) and RBIs (30) ... started 41 of the 46 games in right field during the 2006 season ... batted .301 and stole 16 bases in 18 attempts.
