Chicago, Ill.- Fresh off a tough performance at the Horizon League Cross Country Championships, the UIC cross country team must now set its sights on the NCAA District VI Championships in Peoria, Ill., on Saturday, Nov. 13th at 11:00 a.m.

Last season the Flames were led at the district meet by Mikhail Davidyan and Jenni Goebel.

Davidyan posted a 10,000 meter time of 33:14, while Goebel completed the 6,000-meter course at Oklahoma State in 22:05.

UIC's top returning finisher on the women's side is Rachel Covert, who ran a 23:36.
