April 25, 2007

Chicago, Ill. - UIC softball's sixth game of the season has been affected because of inclement weather. The Flames (16-25) contest versus Notre Dame (24-18) that was scheduled for Wednesday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. in South Bend, Ind. has been postponed because of rainy conditions in the region.

Five of UIC's Horizon League games this season were canceled because of cold weather and snowy conditions. The Flames' three-game series at UW-Green Bay and a doubleheader against Butler at home were canceled in early April.

UIC is set to host Cleveland State in a three-game series at Flames Field this weekend on Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29. The doubleheader between the Flames and Vikings is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start on Saturday, followed by the series finale on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
