Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago women's basketball team looks to tie the school-record for consecutive victories in a season, as the Flames seek their ninth win in a row against Wright State at 2:00 p.m. in the UIC Pavilion on Saturday afternoon.

UIC (12-11, 9-3 Horizon League) is coming off a 74-70 victory over Butler on Wednesday afternoon, led by 17 points and five three-pointers from sophomore guard LaShonda Grant.

Wright State (13-10, 7-5) picked up a 61-51 triumph over Youngstown State on Wednesday night as four Raiders scored in double-figures. Sophomore guard Brittney Whiteside scored a team-high 13 points, followed by Angie Ott (11 points), Jeanette Woodberry (11 points) and Whitney Lewis (10 points).
