Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago women's basketball squad will look for its eighth win in a row as the Flames will host Butler for a special 12:00 p.m. start at the UIC Pavilion on Wednesday afternoon.

The 12:00 p.m. start is in recognition of 'National Women In Sports Day' and the UIC Athletics Department will welcome close to 3,000 students to the Pavilion on Wednesday.

UIC (11-11, 8-3 Horizon League) is coming off their seventh-straight win with a 64-50 victory over cross-town rival, Loyola, at the Gentile Center on Thursday evening. Sophomore guard LaShonda Grant posted a game-high 21 points for the Flames in the win.

Butler (10-11, 4-6) picked up the 78-57 victory over Cleveland State on Saturday afternoon, led by a game-high, 18 points from senior center Cortney Urquhart. The Bulldogs also received solid performances from both Ashley Brenden (17 points) and Jackie Closser (16 points).
