Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's basketball team is looking to snap Detroit's five-game winning streak at 7:00 pm at the Pavilion Thursday night.The last time the Titans dropped a game was December 31st at Cleveland State, 76-67.

Third-place in the conference, Detroit is coming off a 69-62 win over Youngstown State at home Saturday, January 21st.Katie Solner paced the Titans with 25 points and Lindsey Pasquinzo chipped in 15 points for UDM.

Solner added three steals versus YSU and Caitie Goddard led Detroit with 12 rebounds.

Despite a 24-2 run late in the first 20 minutes of play to lead 29-23 at the half, UIC was edged by Wright State 69-59 Monday, January 23rd. Junior Jacquay Holmes picked up a game and career-high with 23 points versus the Raiders.

LaShonda Grant netted 13 points and Nicole Rinaldi, pulling down nine boards for the Flames. UIC enters the game 7-11 and 3-4 in Horizon League play.

The Flames take on Youngstown State on Saturday, January 28th at 6:00 pm to finish out three straight at home this week. UIC then battles four consecutive contests on the road, beginning with cross-town rival Loyola on February 4th at 1:00 pm.
