Chicago, Ill. - It was a tale of two different halves during Thursday's Horizon League Women's Basketball tilt between the University of Illinois at Chicago and UW-Milwaukee at the UIC Pavilion.

After shooting a robust 51.6% in the first half, UIC was only able to convert 20.0% of their attempts in the final 20 minutes as the Panthers earned the 73-64 road victory.

UWM senior center Maria Viall led five different Panthers in double-figures with a double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds, followed by Kiley Johnson (14 points), Nichole Drummond (12 points), Molly O'Brien (11 points) and Anne Witte (11 points).

With the victory, UW-Milwaukee improves to 14-10 overall and 10-3 in Horizon League play, while the Flames drop to 12-13 on the campaign and 6-8 in conference action.

UWM also dominated the glass in the second half, out-rebounding the Flames 31-15, including 11 offensive boards to UIC's six. That led to 12 second-chance points for the Panthers.

UIC freshman guard LaShonda Grant paced the Flames offensive attack with 18 points, including five treys, followed by Chrissy Dizon (12 points), Krystal Hugelier (11 points) and Chastity Quinn (10 points).

The Flames will be back in action on Saturday, as they will host Butler for 'Senior Day', at 5:30 p.m. in the UIC Pavilion.
