Cleveland, Ohio - The UIC women's basketball team continued its end of the season winning streak, picking up number four versus Cleveland State on Thursday night, 76-52. The Flames notched their first win at CSU in head coach Lisa Ryckboch's career at UIC.

Senior Chrissy Dizon and junior LaShonda Grant both knocked down 16 points apiece, while Dizon led the Flames with six assists. Nicole Rinaldi lit up the boards, pulling down eight rebounds and Kelly True posted a few treys with eight points for UIC.

Erin Martin picked up a double double with 11 points and ten rebounds. Erica Hormig led the Vikings with 16 points and three steals. Dominque Butler went four-for-nine, totaling ten points for CSU on the night.

Hitting six-of-nine from the field, Jacquay Holmes scored 13 points in the first half. The Flames netted 12 points off Cleveland State turnovers and totaled nine second chance buckets.

UIC dominated the first 20 minutes of play, grabbing a 17-point (42-25) lead heading into halftime.

The Flames maintained its offensive firepower in the second half with the bench contributing 19 points for the Flames. At the 14:19 mark, UIC steadily extended its advantage, marking a game-high 28-point lead with 4:58 left in regulation.

With the win, the Flames move to 11-11 overall and 7-4 in Horizon League action. UIC battles Youngstown State in Ohio on Saturday, February 11th at 1:00 pm.
