Peoria, Ill.- Joseph Mbari's sixth-place time of 25:41 helped pace the UIC men's cross country team to a third-place finish at the Bradley Classic on Friday night.

Joining Mbari in leading the UIC charge was Sam Watson, who came in 15th with a time of 26:13.

Jim Sulzberger's 26:27, Nic Aubert's 26:35 Alex Sutphen's 26:43 and Jorge Flores' 26:46 gave UIC seven sturdy performances at the top to propel the Flames to a Top 3 finish out of 13 teams.

UIC now prepares for the Horizon League Cross Country Championships on October 28th in Indianapolis.
