Indianapolis, Ind. - University of Illinois at Chicago sophomore Joshua McNabb captured the triple jump title with a season-best leap of 13.25 meters to lead the men's track and field squad at the Butler Twilight Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

McNabb's teammate, freshman Frank Biank earned a runner-up finish in the event with a mark of 12.17 meters.

Freshman field specialist Mike Savegnago picked up a second-place finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.85 meters.

Sophomore transfer Trent Thompson earned a pair of third-place marks in both the 200-meter dash (22.01) and 400-meter dash (48.67). His time of 48.67 in the 400-meter dash was a season-best.

Junior Will Reeves rounded out the top-three finishers for the Flames in the 400-meter hurdles with a third-place time of 57.89.

UIC will be back in action on Thursday afternoon, as they will return to Indianapolis, Ind., to participate in the 2005 Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships at 4:00 p.m. (CST).
