Indianapolis, Ind.- The UIC men's tennis received huge singles wins from All-Horizon League selections Ivan Kovalev and Paul Glendenning and freshman sensation Eric Fey to defeat second-seeded Wright State, 4-2, and advance to the Horizon League Championship finals.

The Flames face top seed and defending champion Butler at 9 p.m. tonight at the Butler Bubble indoor facility for the league title and the automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

This marks the first league finals appearance for the Flames under UIC head coach Hans Neufeld and only the second finals berth in the school's NCAA Division I history.

UIC has already guaranteed their best league finish in seven seasons. The last time the Flames completed a season as one of the top two finishers in the conference was 1998.
