Annapolis, Maryland - On Sunday, the University of Illinois at Chicago men's gymnastics team embarked upon a week-long road trip to the east coast, starting its trek at Navy, competing against the Midshipmen, Temple and William & Mary.

The Temple Owls won the meet (210.925), followed by William & Mary (207.5), Navy (204.95) and the Flames (203.45).

Freshman Neil Faustino won the vault competition with a score of 9.5, which will move him up in the national rankings.

Ambrose Jackson was victorious on high bar with an excellent routine of 9.25, which was good for a season-best.

The Flames will have their final tune-up prior to the ECAC Championships on Tuesday, March 19, when they will visit James Madison in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
