New Haven, Conn. - The UIC men's gymnastics squad used strong performances from Matt Musielak and Neil Faustino to easily defeat Southern Connecticut State, 203.5-183.2 on Friday night in Connecticut.

Musielak won the floor exercise (8.9), pommel horse (8.7) and parallel bars (8.65) competitions, while Faustino won the all-around championship with a total of 51.25 to pace the Flames.

Keith Kerrigan won the rings competition with a score of 8.5, while David Livingston added a win on high bar with a tally of 8.6

The Flames will be back at it on Sunday, when they travel to Massachusetts to compete at Springfield College at 1:00 p.m.
