Green Bay, Wis. - The UIC men's basketball team puts its season-best, five-game winning streak on the line on Saturday night as the Flames go on the road to meet their longest standing rival in UW-Green Bay at 7:00 p.m., in a key Horizon League contest. The Flames (9-7) and Phoenix (11-5) are part of a three-way tie for second place in the Horizon League at 4-2. Detroit is the third team in the mix and the Titans host league-leading UW-Milwaukee, which owns a 6-1 record, on Saturday afternoon. UW-Green Bay and UIC have met on 67 prior occasions with the two schools meeting every year since the 1970-71 campaign. The Phoenix owns a 36-31 lead in the all-time series, but the Flames have won the last six meetings. UIC enters on a five-game winning streak, keyed by a defense that has held its opponent under 60 points in each of those contests and under 40% shooting in each of the last three games.
