DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Matt Woodley scored his seven points in the final 2 1/2 minutes to rally Drake to a 64-60 victory over Illinois-Chicago Monday night.

Senior Aaron Deeter scored a career-high 23 points for the Bulldogs (7-3), winning their seventh straight home game.

Theandre Kimbrough gave Illinois-Chicago a 58-54 lead with 3:50 left to play, but the Bulldogs, sparked by Woodley's first 3-pointer of the game, scored the final 10 points for the victory.

The Flames (5-9) committed five turnovers in their last six possessions.

The victory marks the first time Drake has gone undefeated in its non-conference home schedule (5-0) since the 1979-80 season when it posted a 7-0 mark.

Drake guard Lamont Evans had a career-high 10 assists while teammate Aaron Thomas tied a career high with seven rebounds and had a career-high three 3-pointers.

The Flames outscored Drake, 14-4, to close out the first half pulling within 29-28. Freshman reserve guard Jonathan Schneiderman hit two 3-point baskets to trigger the surge.

Kimbrough led Chicago with 20 points followed by Thor Mitchom's 11.
