2005: Had an outstanding first season with the Bengals after transferring to Idaho State from Mesa College... Played in 27 matches and 100 games... In just her third match of the season, tallied a career-high five service aces against Toledo (9/3)... Led the team in service aces on the season with 23... Posted 10 or more digs in 12 matches, including a career-high 16 digs in the first round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament against Montana State (11/17)... Recorded a career-high eight kills against Northern Arizona (10/6)... Tallied a season-high four blocks at Northern Arizona (10/6).

Mesa College: Played two seasons at San Diego Mesa College... Averaged 4.64 kills a game during the 2004 season, ranking her fifth in the California Community College league... Received Second Team All-American honors for her success in 2004... Was named the Pacific Coast Conference's Most Valuable Player after leading Mesa College to the Community College League of California Tournament championship game... Also ran a half season of track at Mesa... Was an honor roll student... Received the Female Athlete of the Year award in 2004.

High School: A standout player for Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego... Played at Liberty High School as a freshman before attending Mt. Carmel... Received All-League honors, First Team All-State honors, and team MVP honors at Mt. Carmel... Also played basketball and ran track... An honor roll student...

Personal: Parents are Britt and Annie Beal... Has one brother, Britt... Majoring in physical therapy.

Head Coach Welch on Beal: "Bri played libero, defensive specialist and outside hitter in 100 games last fall, while leading the team in service aces. She had a break out spring and became a threat at the net offensively. Bri proved to be our top passer this spring as well. We will look to Bri for her leadership with stable ball control skills, as well as her offensive power in attacking and serving this senior season. She is capable of becoming the big surprise in the Big Sky."
