ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team won its sixth straight game with a 5-0 win over LeTourneau in American Southwest Conference action Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex. Morgan Loyd scored the first two goals for the Cowgirls, the first coming two minutes into the game. She scored in the 25th minute on a double assist from Whitney Piendak and Amy Kuykendall. Laura Newbrough scored in the 27th minute and Piendak scored a pair of goals coming in the 41st and 58th minutes. The Cowgirls outshot LeTourneau 30-4 in the game. Christi Carr had the shutout for HSU. HSU is 6-0-2 on the year and 4-0-0 in ASC action. --- HSU Athletics --- |
