RICHARDSON, Texas - Brad Barham was named American Southwest Conference West Division Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Barham, a freshman defender for the Cowboys, shut down the University of Texas at Permian Basin key players and helped Hardin-Simmons earn its sixth shutout of the season with a 5-0 non-conference win over UTPB on Oct. 17th.

The Cowboys (8-5-1, 4-2-1) will return to action Friday, October 25 when they host Concordia in American Southwest Conference action at Shelton Stadium at 8 p.m.
