ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons senior center Mardochee Jean is reaping the rewards of another solid week as he had been named the American Southwest Conference West Division player of the week and was also named to the D3Hoops.com team of the week.

Jean averaged 19 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and 2.5 blocks over two ASC wins. The preseason West Division player of the year tallied a double-double in points and rebounds in victories against East Texas Baptist and McMurry.

In the win over ETBU he had 23 points 11 rebounds, five assists and four blocks and against McMurry he had 15 points and a season-best 15 rebounds.

The Cowboys are 3-3 on the year and hit the road for the final two games of the pre-Christmas slate against Louisiana College and Mississippi College on Saturday and Monday.
