Will be a weekend starter for the Cowboys after a solid season in 2007. 2007: Started eight games and appeared in 16. Threw 49.1 innings, finishing with 34 strikeouts, a 4-2 record and 5.65 ERA. Came on late in the year allowing only one run in eight and 2/3 innings against Howard Payne and then also threw a complete-game three-hitter at Sul Ross State in back-to-back starts. Threw one of the two Cowboy playoff games last season. 2006: Went 4-1 with a 3.44 ERA last season in 36.2 innings of work. Started five games. Had 24 strikeouts.
