Houston, Texas - Cougar tennis standout, Sarah Borwell, will play in a national tournament the week of October 8 in Los Angeles, California. She is currently ranked #28 in the country in women's tennis singles. Pre-qualifying for the event will be held on October 6th and 7th, with the qualifying for the meet beginning on the 9th and originating with 64 players. The Main Draw of 32 players will begin on the 11th and go through the 14th. To make the Main Draw, four matches must be won during the qualifying round.
