HOUSTON - The University of Houston softball team (25-14, 7-5 C-USA) steps out of Conference USA action with a pair of mid-week doubleheaders at Southland Conference foes Texas-San Antonio and Texas State. The Cougars enter the week after dropping two of three against UTEP at home.

"The team is trying to find its identity that it had at the beginning of the season," head coach Kyla Holas said. "Our offense has been shutting down recently after scoring runs. We have to make sure that we continue to apply pressure on offense after scoring."

Tuesday's doubleheader with UTSA begins at 1pm, while the Texas State twinbill is on-tap for a 3pm first pitch. The Cougars dropped a 4-0 decision to Texas State earlier this season at the Crowne Plaza Classic on Feb. 24.

Houston concludes the week with a Sunday doubleheader at 11am against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. After the doubleheader, kids can enjoy an Easter Egg hunt in the outfield.
