The University of Houston women's basketball team announced the signing of sophomore transfer Becky Gibson on Thursday.

Gibson joins the Lady Cougars after a year at Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kans., where she played in all 33 games leading the Ravens to a 23-10 record. She averaged 11 points per game along with 6 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals, while shooting 74 percent from the free throw line.
