Houston Selected to Play Host To BYU In First Round Of The NIT On Wednesday, March 15.

Houston, Texas- - It will be a cat fight at Hofheinz Pavilion this Wednesday night, March 15 when the University of Houston Cougars play host to the Brigham Young University Cougars at 7:30 p.m.

Houston enters the game as the Number Three seed in the West Region with an overall record of 20-9. BYU is the Number Six seed and has a 20-8 record under former UH Cougar team captain David Rose.

Tickets for the game are on sale immediately and cost $15 for reserved seats and $8 for general admission plus applicable charges. Season ticket holders can purchase their current seat location until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14.

Tickets can be purchased by calling the UH Ticket Office at (713) GoCoogs or 877-Cougar5.

Students of either school may purchase tickets at the UH Ticket Office in person for $4 with a valid University ID.

Group Tickets are available for Groups of 10 or more people for $4 each.

Parking for the game will be $5.

All tickets for the game can be picked up during normal business hours or one and-a-half hours before tip-off at the Holman Street Ticket Office. Tickets will only be released to the purchaser of record with a valid ID.

The winner of the Houston-BYU game will play the winner of second-seeded Missouri State-Stanford/Virginia game in the second round on March 20. The higher seeds of each region play at home with the exception of the Notre Dame/Vanderbilt game because the venue could not be secured at Vanderbilt.
