The University of Houston Cross Country team will face off against athletes from over 70 different schools Saturday at the 70th Annual Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla.

The women's college 5K race will begin at 8:05 and the men's college 8K race will begin at 8:30. In the university races, the women will start at 9:10 and the men will start at 9:40.

The Cougars did not compete last week but are coming off an impressive showing at the Hawaii Big Wave Classic on Sept. 16. The men's team finished first led by senior Calum Neff who finished first with a time of 15:31. The women finished second and were led by freshman Jessica Cook who finished second with a time of 15:20.7.
