Track & Field Teams Compete At New Hampshire

Results

Durham, N.H. - The Holy Cross women's track and field team took third place in New Hampshire, finishing ahead of Massachusetts. Boston College won the overall meet with 141 points with New Hampshire in second with 131.5 points. The Crusaders finished with 93.5 points.

Leading the women were in the 400-meter run was freshman Lauren Courtney (Ashland, Mass.), who took second in a time of 61.27 seconds. Her teammate, sophomore Katie Spinelli (Southington, Conn.), finished just behing in third.

Senior Jessica Fallon (Nashua, N.H.) was the runner-up in the pole vault at height of 10'8".

Taking second place in the 55-meter dash (7.63 seconds) and the long jump (16'6") was freshman Lesley Bautista (St. John's, NL).

Senior Emily Winacoo (Holden, Mass.) also took second in the 500-meter event in a time of 1:21.79,

The Crusader women will compete again next Friday, January 27 at the Reebok Indoor Games in Boston.
