WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross freshman forward Lauren Wright (Biglerville, Pa.) has been named the Patriot League Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week, for her performance in the 2-1 victory over Sacred Heart on September 14. She scored both goals including the game-winner with just 50 seconds left in regulation. Her goal with under a minute to play in the second half was the first game-winning goal of her collegiate career.

Wright currently leads Holy Cross in points (six) and goals (three), while she ranks second in points and goals by Patriot League freshmen.

The Crusaders (2-4) return to action on Friday, September 21, when they travel to Orono, Maine to take on Maine at 3:00 p.m.
