WORCESTER, Mass. - Freshman forward Kathryn Kelley (Dedham, Mass.) has been named the Holiday Inn Express Crusader of the Week, for competition from February 5-11. Last week, Kelley scored a pair of goals for the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team.

During Friday night's 5-2 win over Southern Maine at the Hart Center, Kelley scored two goals to held lead the Crusaders to victory. Her first goal came just 17 seconds into the first period off a pass from junior forward Casey Harvell (Lexington, Mass.), giving the Crusaders a 1-0 lead. Just over eight minutes later, she netted her second goal with assists from Harvell and freshman forward Kathryn O'Connor (Brookfield, Conn.), making the score 3-0 Holy Cross.

In 22 games played this season, Kelley now ranks seventh on the team in scoring with 12 points on six goals and six assists.

The Crusaders (14-7-1 overall, 11-6-0 ECAC East) return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 13, when they play host to Sacred Heart in a 7:00 p.m. game at the Hart Center.
