Worcester, Mass. - Junior Robert Leader (Leominster, Mass.) was named Patriot League Male Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office. This is the first weekly award for the men's track team this season.

The sprinter won the 400-meter run at the Holy Cross Invitational on Saturday, April 23. Leader posted a season-best time of 48.99 seconds.

Leader also anchored the winning 4x400-meter relay team that clocked a time of 3:24.39. The time was 5.89 seconds better than second-place team Maine.

The Holy Cross men's track and field team competes on Tuesday, April 26 at the Hart Track and Field Complex in the Holy Cross Quad Meet.
