Boston, Mass. - Two Holy Cross teams competed in the 41st Annual Head of the Charles Regatta. On a cold and windy day in Boston, both teams made very strong showings.

The Crusader women's team placed 14th in a field of 46 teams from all over the country in the collegiate eights competition. With a time of 19:13.886 the women finished just under one and a half minutes off the pace set by the winner, Trinity College.

Starting their race just before the women was the Crusader men's team which took 23rd place. Also in the collegiate eights the men were among a field of 41 teams. The men's time was 16:51.168, just under one minute behind the leader. Trinity also won the men's race.

Next on the schedule for the Crusader rowing teams is the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, October 29 in Philadelphia, Pa.
