Michelle Chatman is in her second season with the Georgetown volleyball program. Chatman coordinates all recruiting efforts and directs the operations of Georgetown volleyball including travel and equipment.

During the offseason, Chatman worked with several volleyball camps including the NCAA Division II National Champions University of Tampa as well as several Division I, elite-caliber schools.

Chatman, a student-athlete at the University of Florida when head coach Arlisa Hagan Williams was an assistant coach for the Gators, brings a wealth of playing experience to the Hilltop.

After graduation from UF, Chatman spent the 2005 season as a student assistant coach at her alma mater. During her days as a student-athlete in Gainesville from 2001-04, Chatman was a four-year letterwinning middle blocker and outside hitter and was named Honorable Mention American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All- American in 2004 after earning AVCA East Region accolades in 2002.

Chatman, who earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and a bachelor of science degree in family, youth and community sciences in 2006, was named All- Southeastern Conference (SEC) First Team in 2004 and won All-SEC Academic Honor Roll accolades in 2002 and 2004. Chatman, has run camps for the Girls Club of Alachua County (Fla.) and was an assistant coach for the Gainesville Juniors Volleyball Club.
