Grand Valley State qualified 27 student-athletes for the NCAA Division II Track & Field National Championships in Charlotte, NC on May 24-26. Last season, the women claimed the highest finish in school history at the outdoor championships, a fourth place finish. The men took 21st place a year ago.

"We are excited about the opportunity to take this many student-athletes to Charlotte for the NCAA National Championships," said Baltes. "We feel we have a great crew qualified and both sides can do some great things."
"We have the potential to finish in the top 4-5 on the women's side and get a top 10 finish on the men's side, which we have never done," added Baltes.
