Grand Valley State defeated Saginaw Valley, 5-3, in the consolation match of the GLIAC Championships. The Lakers finish the season with a 9-5 record. The win gave GVSU a fifth-place finish in the tournament.

Nikki Fairchild won 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 at #2 singles, Alison Koopsen picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at #3 singles, and Kim VanSprange won 6-3, 6-2 at #4 singles. Zanobia Syed defeated her opponent, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 at #6 singles.

VanSprange and Natalie Pallet teammed up for an 8-1 win at #3 doubles.
