Results

Grand Valley State is leading the Laker Fall Classic after firing a 303 in the first round. The 17-team tournament will conclude on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at the Meadows Golf Course.

Freshman Allie Tyler shot an even par 72 and is the overall leader in the tournament. Sophomore Caitlin Bennett is tied for third place overall as she posted a two over par 74 and senior Tracey Puckering tallied a four over par 76, which ties her for eighth place. Freshman Kristina Langton recorded an 81, while sophomore Caitlin Duval shot an 82.

Three Lakers are playing in the tournament as individuals and freshman Carolyn Schaner is tied for 32nd overall after posting an 81. Sophomore Ashley Smith shot an 85 and junior Michelle Boogaard recorded an 86.

Play will resume and conclude on Tuesday, Sept. 4 with the first tee times beginning at 9:00 a.m.
