Results

Grand Valley State finished in second place at the Northern Kentucky Spring Invitational. The Lakers shot a two round score of 615, posting a 303 on Saturday followed by a 312 on Sunday. Drury won the 21 team invite with a 603. GVSU will next compete at the University of Illinois on April 6-7.

Freshman Ashley Smith and sophomore Michelle Boogaard both tied for sixth place overall with a two day score of 152. Smith posted a 72 on Saturday and an 80 on Sunday, while Boogaard shot a 76 in both rounds. Junior Tracey Puckering tied for 17th place as she fired a 155 (77, 78) and freshman Caitlin Bennett recorded a 78 both days for a two round total of 156. Freshman Caitlin Duval posted a 78 on Saturday and an 81 on Sunday for a 159, which tied her for 30th place.
