Grand Rapids, Mich. - Grand Valley State erased a 5-point halftime deficit with a 15-0 run to open the second half en route to an 83-66 road victory over Aquinas College Friday night (Dec. 30). GVSU improves to 10-2 with the victory and will return to action Thursday, Jan. 5 at Michigan Tech.

Aquinas College built a 44-39 lead after 20 minutes of action, but the Lakers scored the first 15 points of the second half to build a 54-44 lead.

Sophomore guard Jason Jamerson led GVSU with 26 points, including 7-9 on three-pointers. Jamerson was 6-6 in the second half. Courtney James added 17 points and Dan Redder 12 for the Lakers. Mike Hall pulled down six rebounds.
