Women's Tennis To Host Nationally Ranked Colorado

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team will host nationally ranked University of Colorado on Sunday afternoon at the Spokane Racquet Club South. The match between the Bulldogs and Buffaloes will start at 10 a.m. with singles action first. Colorado is currently ranked 41st in the country and enters with a 3-1 overall record. The Buffaloes roster includes two players ranked in Top 100. Gonzaga is coming off a slow opening weekend in which they lost matches to Utah State University, University of Wyoming and Montana State University. Prior to the meeting with Colorado, Gonzaga will travel to Pullman, Wash., for a Friday evening match with Washington State University. The Cougars feature a player ranked in the Top 100. Freshman Courtney Lau has played well for the Bulldogs during the early portion of the year playing at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles.
