GU ITA Regionals Day Three Results

PALO ALTO, Cali. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team competed in three singles matches in the final day of play at the ITA Regionals in Palo Alto, Calif. Sunday. The Bulldogs recorded three losses in consolations play. Freshman Amanda Becker was defeated by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo University's Chelsey Thompson, 6-3, 7-6 (4). Senior Angela Fry was handed a straight sets loss by the University of Pacific's Cristin Sammis, 6-2, 6-4 and senior Sirrah Williams was defeated by the University of California, Davis' Natalie Rosenblum, 6-2, 6-3. The Bulldogs concluded their fall season and will be back in action on Jan. 28 when they head to Seattle, Wash. to play against the University of Washington.
