MISSOULA, Mont. - Jaime Buterbaugh advanced to the semifinals of the University of Montana Tennis Tournament as she leads the Gonzaga University men's and women's tennis team into day three of tournament play. Buterbaugh also advanced to the semifinals of doubles play with teammate Angela Fry. Gonzaga women Leigh Orne and Kendall Bates also teamed up to advance to the doubles semifinals.
On the men's side, Bryce Cooper and Dru Ernst defeated their opponents to reach of the doubles semifinals. Cooper made it to the quarterfinal round of singles play before falling to Brad Lum-Tucker of University of Idaho. Dru Ernst, Brett Womack and Reid Arthur are all still alive in consolation play.
The tournament continues through Sunday for the men and women's tennis team.
