SPOKANE, Wash. - Lauren Zuckerman of the Gonzaga University women's soccer team has been named to the All-West Region third team, as announced by Soccer Buzz.

With the selection, the senior forward becomes the third Bulldog to earn the honor. Zuckerman joins Beth Drollinger (2005), Annie Hawkins (2004) and Sara Streufert (2000) as Gonzaga's All-West Region third team honorees. Ashley Haugen, a 2005 first team selection and All-America third team honoree, and Lori Conrad and Jessie Thalman, freshman team honorees in 2005 and 2006, respectively, round out the Bulldogs all-time national accolades.

The native of Lafayette, Calif. started all 20 matches this season and led the Bulldogs in goals with five. She also posted an assist en route to 11 total points. Her five goals mark a career high as she was a defender during her first three seasons at Gonzaga.

Her efforts in league play earned her an All-West Coast Conference honorable mention selection as she posted one goal - the game winning goal against then-No. 12 Santa Clara University. The in over the Broncos' marked the Bulldogs' inaugural victory over the conference foe. Her

The Bulldogs finished the 2007 campaign with a 12-7-1 overall record, including a 3-4-0 finish in the WCC. The 12 victories tied the school record for victories in a season in addition to the fifth consecutive season in which the Zags have posted a winning record and 10 or more wins.
