REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - The Gonzaga University men's varsity crew team closed out the 5th Annual Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic hosted by Stanford University on Sunday. The Bulldogs, who raced both UC Davis and the University of Washington on Saturday, hit the waters against No. 19 Oregon State University on Sunday morning at the Redwood Shores Lagoon in Redwood City, Calif.

Oregon State squeaked out a victory over Gonzaga finishing in a time of 6:11.80. The Bulldogs posted a time of 6:15.64.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs split their opening two races. Gonzaga opened up the Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic defeating UC Davis. The Bulldogs finished in a time of 6:13.55 while the Aggies finished in a time of 6:18.00. In GU's second race on Saturday, Washington posted a winning time of 6:17.10, while the Zags crossed the finish line in 6:26.51.

Gonzaga will be back in action next Saturday when it hosts Washington State in the Fawley Cup at Silver Lake in Medical Lake, Wash.
