GW's Tracy Wei Named to A-10 All-Conference Team

Junior Posts 13-4 Singles Record

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Junior Tracy Wei (Marietta, GA/Walton Comprehensive) has been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team in voting conducted among the Conference's head coaches following the Verizon Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship.

The 2000 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, Wei posted a singles record of 13-4 on the season (7-2 at No. 2; 6-2 at No. 3) as GW placed third at the 2002 A-10 Championships. Wei has a career singles record of 36-20 (.643) in her two seasons at GW.

In doubles competition, Wei posted a 8-9 record overall this season. She teamed with sophomore Lindy First to post a 7-9 record and partnered with freshman Sevla Gonca for a 1-0 record, primarily at No. 1 doubles.

The Colonials (14-6) won 14 matches, including a 10-match win streak, in the first season at their new home facility on GW's Mount Vernon campus.
